BICESTER fighter Daza Usher was crowned the British Masters Welterweight champion, after beating previously undefeated Vinzenz Keuch on a technical knockout at the Civic Hall in Grays, Essex.

In a competitive contest, Usher’s speed and slickness were edging the rounds in his favour.

In the latter stages of the eight-round clash, Keuch was looking to land big punches, but Usher kept him at bay with some sharp combinations and crisp jabs.

About two minutes into the final round, Usher landed a looping right cross that put Keuch on the canvas.

Although Keuch got back to his feet during the referee’s mandatory standing eight-second count, his corner threw the towel in before Usher was presented with his championship belt.
