BILLIARDS: Eynsham raise their title hopes
Eynsham moved to within three points of Division 2 leaders Thame B with an impressive 3-0 win at Abingdon Conservative Club A in the Gentworks Oxford & District League.
Michael McCluskey (+100) got them off to a flier with a 200-158 success against Gordon Cook (+20), before Geoff Watson (+100) saw off Matty Bramhall (scratch) 200-182 to seal it.
Robert Watson (+20) completed the whitewash by beating Lee Pratley (+50) 200-187.

Abingdon Con A 0, Eynsham 3; Fieldside 2, Oxford Bowls 1; Headington Con Club A 1, Thame A 2; New Club 2, Riley A 1.
