Williams test driver Susie Wolff escaped injury after crashing while pre-season testing in Barcelona.
Wolff, from the Grove-based team, was involved in a collision with Sauber’s Felipe Nasr as he tried a passing move.
“I most certainly didn’t apologise,” said Wolff. “I stayed completely on my line. I didn’t expect him to move across as aggressively as he did and he hit my front left with his rear.
“It was an unfortunate incident, but one I couldn’t avoid it."
