TUMBLER Ben Goodall finished a highly-respectable seventh on his debut competing for Great Britain.

The Harwell 16-year-old was a member of Britain’s junior team taking part in the Loulé Cup in Portugal.

The competition consisted of a qualifying round with the top eight gymnasts going into the final.

Goodall delivered two great tumble runs, performing a transition run in competition for the first time to finish fifth, securing a place in the final.
