Oxonian's Malcolm Rose finished runner-up to Fairly United’s Peter Oliver in the Charlbury Sporting 10 mile time trial.
Oliver stormed to victory in 24mins 57 secs, with Rose second in 26.01 and Oxonian clubmate Matt Rowley third in 26.17.
Oxonian’s Lewis Hutton, 15, posted a respectable 27.40.
Result: 1 P Oliver (Fairly Utd) 24.57, 2 M Rose (Oxonian) 26.01, 3 M Rowley (Oxonian) 26.17, 4 C Thomas (Oxford City) 27.03.
OXONIAN’S Emma McDermott was the third fastest woman in Oxford City’s Witney 10 mile time trial.
She posted 24mins 33 secs to take the minor honours behind Newbury’s Rachael Elliott, who scored in 23.13.
High Wycombe’s Adam Topham won the men’s race with an impressive 19.39 at an average speed of 30.53mph.
Mat Rowley was the first Oxonian rider home in 21.22.

Women: 1 R Elliott (Newbury) 23.13, 2 S Robinson (VC10) 23.44, 3 E McDermott (Oxonian) 24.33.
Team: S Irwin, J Ley & D Spragg (Kingston) 1.06.38.
Tandem: J Newman & A Allcock (Oxford City & Didcot Phoenix) 23.46.
