Oxford United are optimistic that their home game with Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday night will go ahead.
Although today’s game at Accrington fell to the weather, United’s Kassam Stadium pitch was yesterday described as playable by chairman Kelvin Thomas.
“The change (in weather) on Friday was quite good really,” Thomas said.
“The covers have been on for two weeks and we check what is happening every day.
“The snow has added to the insulation and the pitch underneath is soft and playable today.”
