ASHTON lost top spot after a 2-1 defeat at New Club in Division 1 of the Gentworks Oxford & District League.

Oracle are the new leaders, with Ashton also on 31 points, both having played 14 games.

Dave White (+20) sealed the match for New Club after Alan King (+10) and Ashton’s Callum Vinall (+70) won the first two games.

Oracle went top by defeating Eynsham 2-1, Pom Merola (-20) clinching their victory with a 200-193 success over Roy Gascoyne (+100).

Division 2 leaders Littlemore RBL were beaten 2-1 by second-placed Riley B.
