PREMIER Division leaders Fieldside beat their closest rivals Abingdon RBL 4-1 to reach the final of the Gentworks Oxford & District League’s Simmons Cup.
Mick Bennett won two frames for Fieldside, while Robbie Adcock grabbed Abingdon’s consolation and also compiled the match’s highest break with 43.
Premier Division Littlemore RBL C will play Fieldside in the final after defeating Division 1 side Thame B 4-1.
Littlemore’s Jason Buck won both his frames and teammate Adam Brown’s 49-break was the highest of the match.
Riley D, joint bottom of Division 3, upset the form book to defeat second-placed Cowley Conservative Club A 4-2 in the Sherlock Cup semi-finals.
Division 3 side Headington RBL will meet Riley D in the final after seeing off Division 4’s Witney F 4-1.
