Adam Pendell scored a dramatic last-minute equaliser as Letcombe battled back from 2-0 to grab a draw in Division 1 West.

Headington took the lead when Neil Lockhart beat keeper Simon Byrne at the near post with a low drive, before Lyle Gifford twice shot wide for Letcombe.

In the second half, Luke Cuff increased Headington’s advantage with a tidy finish from a Shaun Pearce pass after a Letcombe free-kick was intercepted.

Letcombe were back in the game when Mark Brind fired in a free-kick after Peter Horswell was brought down by Headington keeper Harry Jenkins, who was booked.

And with a minute left, the comeback was complete when Pendell found the bottom corner.
