Eddie Pepperell stands only four shots off second place
EDDIE Pepperell shot a second round 67 to move into the top 25 at the halfway stage of the Rocco Forte Open in Sicily.
The Abingdon golfer made only his second cut of the year on the PGA European Tour when he fired five birdies in his four-under-par round at Verdura.
This followed his first-round 67 and leaves him on a eight-under-par total of 134, only five shots off second place.
Spaniard Alvaro Quiros leads on 127.
