INI Umotong scored twice but was then sent off as Oxford United lost 3-2 to Sheffield in FA Women’s Super League 2 Spring Series.
The striker fired the U’s into a 17th-minute lead from the penalty spot, picking herself up to score after being fouled by Carla Ward.
Jenna Dear levelled seven minutes after half-time, firing home a free-kick.
Emma Johnson put Sheffield in front six minutes later, before Ellie Gilliatt made it 3-1 on 65 minutes.
Umotong added her second when she headed a cross past Draycott but just after picking up a booking, she was shown a second yellow after trying to wrestle the ball off the Sheffield goalkeeper.
It ended any real hopes of a comeback from Oxford and Sheffield held on.
