FORMER world title-holder Henry Johnson won the singles title at the Kidlington Summer League finals night.

The Yarnton British Legion marksman, who became the sport’s first world champion at the 2014 Charlbury Beer Festival, beat clubmate Robin Busby in the final.

Ray Grant was another big winner on the night.

He teamed up with Adrian Cooper and Charlie Buckingham as Black Prince B beat Kings Arms B in the triples.

Grant then partnered Charlie Buckingham to victory in the pairs against Chris Price and Charlie King.

The Premier Section’s top-doll scorer received a special award for his three straight sixes and a 27-doll total against King’s Arms B.
