VALE of White Horse bowed out of the PlayStation ESFA Under 15 Inter-Association Trophy with a battling 3-1 defeat at home to Blackheath.
The last-16 tie, played on Oxford City’s 3G pitch, saw Vale take the lead when Jack Stevens set up Chris Mortimore to fire home.
Blackheath levelled early in the second half through Alexandra Brefo, before Rodney Adamon and Adeniram Ayodimeji sealed victory.
