Kidlington Green Social Club B took a giant step towards the Greene King ODDA Summer League top flight title with a 7-2 walloping of visitors Goodlake Arms B.

Wins from Stuart Wright, Neil Russell, Joe Palmer and John Russell saw the leaders storm into a 4-0 lead.

Scott Mercer- Rolls and Martin Turnbull cut the deficit, but a 3-0 pairs win saw the hosts pull ten points clear.

Democrats Social Club won 6-3 at Cricketers Arms C in Section 3.

Victories from Ashley Presley, James Tricker and Mark Bayliss out the visitors 3-0 up.

Alan Hunter pulled one back for the hosts against Dan Kirton, but wins from Sukaave Singh and Dave Presley made it 5-1.

Although Cricketers won the pairs 2-1, it was too late.

In the Ladies’ Premier Section, Florence Park Community Centre A made it a perfect ten as they beat Donnington Community Centre A.

Tina Hamilton defeated Ann Ranger to put the leaders ahead, only for Ann Marks to level against Jo Gleed.

That proved to be Donnington’s only success as the table-toppers ran out 8-1 winners.

Section One leaders New Inn opened up a 12-point gap after a narrow win at home to Vikings Social Club.

Wins from Greta Britnell, Maggie Dexter-Naylor and Sam Merrifield put the hosts seemingly in control at 3-0.

However, Vikings stormed back to level at 3-3 thanks to victories from Lydia Harper, Tina Walton, and Lisa James.

However, New Inn won the pairs 2-1 as the home side sneaked a 5-4 win.
