Chalgrove 2 Summertown 4

7:46pm Sunday 24th January 2010

Summertown deservedly came out on top in a game that threatened at times to be a repeat of the 5-5 draw early in the season. In an even first half Chalgrove twice led through goals from Harry Miners but 2 a piece from the outstanding Horatio Hirst and Mark Parry gave Summertown a half time lead.

Chalgrove Cavaliers 4 Didcot Casuals 2

6:31pm Sunday 13th December 2009

Despite starting strongly the Cavaliers found themselves behind just after 5 minutes as Lewis Apnea converted a corner. Chalgrove then had a 10 minute spell where everything they hit flew in, Max Smith cracked one into the roof of the net from fully 25 yards before Owen Rees scored a 5 minute hatrick. Apart from this spell this was a largely even game with Didcot fully deserving their 2nd goal scored in the second half again by Lewis Apnea.

Chalgrove Cavaliers 1 Oxford City Colts 4

7:10pm Sunday 6th December 2009

Despite an even first 20 minutes, in which Chalgrove should have taken the lead, City could quite easily have reached half time 3 up as only the woodwork, twice, and a miraculous goal line clearance kept the scores level.
