The scoring was opened by a terrific corner from Michael Moss, which touched the goalie, the post and a Comets defender on its way into the net.
Shortly afterwards, a fine dribble into the heart of the Ardington penalty area by Nicholas Delamillieure almost lead to an equaliser, as Luke Strivens hit the post.
But that was the only real chance for the Comets, and after that Ardington took control.
There some fine passing movements, especially in the second half, and Michael Moss finished well to ensure that Ardington finished as deserved winners.
