ST EDMUNDS staged an impressive comeback to earn their first Under 12 A League win of the season, beating Horspath 3-2.

The visitors led 2-0 at the break through Adam Darch and Saltan Dousa.

But a second-half brace from Ruben Boodell and another from Jo Coucke were enough to move the home side off the bottom of the table.

A clinical display from East Oxford United earned them a 4-0 home victory over Cold Ash United in the D League.

Kyle Woods scored twice to add to strikes from Raqib Omer and Farah Seif in the victory.

Cumnor Minors Blues dispatched Crowmarsh Orange 7-0 in the C League, Akira Harry netting twice alongside goals from Chris Hickman, Mark Adamson, Adam Soanes, Declan Ross and Oliver Poulter.

Hot-shot Callum Crook hit a brace to help Under 11 A League leaders Florence Park Blue maintain their 100 per cent record with a fine 2-0 win at Kennington Athletic Green.

Crook continued his own run of scoring in every game so far this season in the process.

Kyle Robertson headed Oxford City to glory at Abingdon Youth Greens as City edged out the hosts 2-1.

City took the lead thanks to Sam Kauffman, but were pegged back by an own goal before Robertson’s aerial heroics.

Under 10 C League leaders Chalgrove Cavaliers continued their impressive start to the campaign.

They stretched their winning run to seven games with a 2-1 away triumph at Botley.

Rory Francies put the visitors in front and George Cox extended the lead before Sammy Wilson pulled one back for Botley in the second half.

Freddie Kennedy scored in the final minute to give Harwell & Hendred a 1-0 win at home to Didcot Casuals and maintain their position at the top of the A League.

Didcot Town Red were also beaten by a single goal, going down 1-0 at home to Bure Park Juniors courtesy of a Connor Duggan effort.

The points were shared on derby day in the Under 13 C League, as Crowmarsh Youth and Crowmarsh Tigers drew 2-2.

Youth twice took the lead, Zack Jones scoring in each half, but Tigers levelled on both occasions, first through Aidan Ollebuttel and then late on via Kye Johnson.

Jack Crudginton struck four times to give Wheatley a 10-0 away victory over Greater Leys Kites and maintain the visitors’ unbeaten record.

Harry Cudd and Joel Taylor got a brace each, while Joe Bowley and Connor Madden also scored.

Milton United Blue were unable to field a full side for their trip to Marston Saints and were beaten 15-2.

Jamar Smith (4), Morgan Brown (3), Brandon Read-Strahan (2), Alex Northover, Ben Allen, Ben Milward, David Oke, Daniel Coates and Daniel Upham all scored for the hosts, with a Declan Phillips brace providing some consolation for Milton.

Oxford Irish scored five times in the second half to beat Chalgrove Cavaliers 5-1 in the A League.

The visitors were 1-0 up at the break after Sam Snellgrove converted an early penalty, but Irish turned things around with goals from Luke Elliott, Zion Yearwood, Owen Gilbert, Toby Pattison and Shea Sturgess.

KIDLINGTON Youth Comets saw off a spirited fightback from Headington Sharks to win 4-3 in the Under 14 D League, having led 4-0.

Comets were 2-0 up at the break and extended their lead to four goals courtesy of Harry Wynn, Alex Innocenti and a brace from Ceiran Northwood.

But Sharks hit back with three quickfire goals of their own.

Liam Costar notched twice, with Silas Pill adding a third soon after, but they could not find an equaliser.

In the C League, Cumnor Minors crushed Rotherfield United Rattlers 6-2.

Harry Tilling stole the show with a hat-trick, Jamie Taylor added a brace and Cameron Stevens also scored for the hosts.

Harry Ingram and Ben Zimmerman were on target for Rotherfield.

Crowmarsh Comets defeated Summertown Stars 3-1, having fallen behind early on when Malcolm Binder took advantage of a goalkeeping error to give the away side the lead.

But Comets recovered quickly to lead at the break with goals from Aidan Bellis and Josh Burtenshaw, with Cameron Wetherall heading in a third in the second half.
