KITES DELIVER ANOTHER FINE PERFORMANCE

Greater leys 3 Horspath 1 A great match to watch saw the visitors take an early lead when Max Jones scored after early pressure and Greater leys equalised against the run of play when a Dan Scoble strike fumbled into the back of the net to make it 1-1 at half time The 2nd half started brighter for the Kites and pressure paid off when a quick short corner led to a cross that Andrew Evans headed into the top net for the winner.
Greater leys then had another corner which unfortunately was headed into his own net by Freddie Logan to make it 3-1 to the Kites.
Horspath did have a strike which hit the post, and the Kites saw a number of chances go amiss and the Horspath keeper was on point to keep the Kites out.
Well done both teams, and good fortune for the rest of the season goal scorers Gleys Dan Scoble, Andrew Evans Horspath Max Jones, Freddie Logan OG
