HARWELL & Hendred beat Oxford City 3-1 away from home to win the Under 12 A League title.

Harry Moreton put the visitors 1-0 up with a spectacular lob, only for Josh Brain to equalise for City.

But Harry Fisher and Jake Moss struck for Harwell to secure the league title with two games left to play.

Abingdon Youth came from a goal down to beat Wantage Town 4-3, Benjamin Eagling’s quickfire hat-trick banishing lingering memories of the hosts’ opener.

Connor Woodward added a fourth goal and although Wantage rallied in the second half to score twice more Abingdon held on.

Charles Smith (2) and Edward Lagden netted for Town.

Abingdon Youth Yellows twice came from behind to secure promotion from the Under 11 C League with a 2-2 draw at home to St Edmunds.

Jack Easton scored twice for the visitors but his efforts were cancelled out, first by Scott Roberts in the first half and then George Davies after the break.

Florence Park White picked up their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw at home to Tower Hill.

Jack Crozier gave the hosts the lead, but Tower Hill levelled just five minutes later when Sephy Morris stabbed home.

Oxford City came from behind to beat Chalgrove Cavaliers Blue 4-1 in the A League.

Sam Agg gave the visitors an early lead.

Goals from Kaine Hall and Kyle Robertson handed City a 2-1 advantage at half-time and Gavin Dykes and Karum Sangha extended the home side’s lead after the break.

Barton United won the F League title in style, beating second-placed Stanford 4-1 to make it five wins from five with goals from Connor Barrett (2), Ashton Donnelly and Doire Flanagan.

Oxford City twice came from behind to beat St Edmunds 3-2 in the Under 15 A League thanks to a sensational last-minute winner from Ronnie Hoxha.

Leon Kuka levelled for City first with a well-placed free-kick after Ewan Jones had given the visitors the lead.

However, a fine effort from Matthew Moxon ensured it was St Edmunds who led at the break.

Hoxha equalised again for City with a 30-yard free-kick midway through the second half and despite heavy pressure from the hosts, the game appeared to be heading for a stalemate until Hoxha’s spectacular winner in the dying minutes, volleying in from 25 yards.

Horspath moved up to second in the table with a 4-1 home victory over Abingdon Town, despite falling behind to an early goal from Tete Brewster.

The hosts struck back immediately through Jack Hicks before going on to add another three goals after the break.

Efforts from, Ivan Fairchild, Charlie Rowland and a Luke McCormack penalty gave the home side the points.

Hinksey Park leap-frogged Crowmarsh Comets in the Under 14 C League with an impressive 2-1 away victory.

Denzil Atito and Louis Attlee put Park two goals up before Josh Billingham pulled one back for the hosts to set up a tense finish.

D League leaders Ardington Eagles continued their formidable form with a 6-1 win over Botley.

Joe Winterbourne, Samuel Jackson, Girish Kumar, Joe Horton, Matthew Druce and Joe Herbert struck for the Eagles, with Lenny Lewis scoring Botley’s consolation.

Headington Sharks recovered from back-to-back defeats in style with a 3-1 win at home to Faringdon Town despite falling behind in the first half to a Jack Green goal.

Michael Dempsey levelled before the break and Liam Costar and Dan Hollis scored in the second half to seal the victory.

Chalgrove Cavaliers won the Under 10 C title in style, finishing the season with a 100 per cent record after beating Abingdon Youth Whites 4-1.

Dan Pulker, Oliver Lowman and George Cox gave the hosts a 3-0 lead.

Charlie Neal pulled one back for the visitors before Cox ensured Chalgrove had the final say with his second.

In the A League, an Oliver Wilkes brace and goals from Oliver Tyler and Lewis McKirnan gave Didcot Town Red a 4-0 victory at Abingdon Town.

Under 13 B League leaders Ardley United inflicted a first defeat on Oxford Blackbirds, James Davis scoring to give the visitors a 1-0 victory.

The Ardley defence had to withstand heavy Blackbirds pressure, but the hosts were unable to find a way past visiting keeper Owen Valinder.
