Oxfordshire teenager Sabina Lossnitzer has just returned from Budapest in Hungary after playing for England’s Under 14 side in the Winter Cup.
England won their opening match against Serbian Team HK Tas 3-1, before losing 6-0 against Slovakian team SHT HK Trebisov.
After going down 7-3 against the Croatian KHL Mladost, they won their final match 4-3 against Vasas SC in the fifth-place play-off.
Headington-based Lossnitzer, who plays for Swindon’s Under 14A and Under 16A sides, is the only female in the team as she last year when she played for England’s Under 13 side in Quebec, Canada.
In April, she travels with the England team to Prague.
This summer she is off to America after being chosen by the UK selectors to be part of a tour.
Anyone interested in helping her get to the next level should email her at lossy@lossnitzer.com.
