HEAD coach Kenny Redmond says Oxford City Stars will give opportunities to youngsters in their match away to Swindon Wildcats tonight (6.15).
It is the first time the derby rivals have met this season as Stars, who trounced Haringey Hornets 14-0 last week, lead the way in English National League South Division 2.
Redmond said: “We had a good high intensity training session this week and are looking forward to the match.
“Again our priority is to win, and where possible, we will be looking to mix it up and ice some of the younger players to keep developing their experience.
“We showed at home last week that we have strength in depth.
“With Darren Elliott and Dax Hedges out, it remains an opportunity for others to step up.
“I know the fixture means a lot to the people of Oxfordshire and we will be focused on putting in another strong performance.”
Stars head the table by two points, but nearest rivals Bracknell Hornets have two games in hand.
Kamil Kinkor will be looking to add to his tally of 27 goals and 29 assists so far this season.
