FOCUS will be key for Oxford City Stars in this weekend’s top of the table clash against Peterborough Phantoms, according to head coach Kenny Redmond.
The Oxpens-based side have scored an impressive 46 goals, including 18 against Basingstoke six days ago, in their last three games and sit second in English National League Division 2 South.
But Redmond stressed getting a result away from home tomorrow is key.
He said: “Our recent games have helped with our goal difference and set us up for games like Peterborough, where we just have to go out and win the game.
“It’s our job to keep the lads focused and ensure they don’t get complacent.
“We have to go out and play for our fans, play for ourselves and work on the things we work on in practice, so that we are ready when we play harder opposition.
“We are focused and we know what we have to do.”
Face-off is at 5.30pm.
