NETMINDER Mark Duffy has become the latest squad member to re-sign for Oxford City Stars.

Last season’s coach’s player of year has committed to a second campaign at Oxpens after joining from Bracknell Hornets, where he worked under new boss Kenny Redmond.

Duffy impressed for Stars, who will play in National League Division 2 this year, achieving an 85.4 per cent save record in 23 games.

He said: “I really enjoyed last year with the team and the season really was a great one for me personally.

“I’m really hoping to play a big part in the success of this club this year and in the years to come and can’t wait to get started.

“I’ve worked with Kenny before at Bracknell Hornets and have a lot of respect for the way he wants to run his teams.”
