FORMER Oxford University student Dan Fox reached two major milestones in the space of two days.

The 33-year-old made his 150th international appearance in Great Britain’s 2-1 defeat to India in the Hero Hockey Champions Trophy at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre on Sunday.

And 24 hours later, the Holcombe player earned his 50th British cap in a 4-1 victory over Korea.

Fox tweeted after Sunday’s match: “A proud moment to reach 150 caps.

“A real privilege to play for England and Great Britain. Thanks for the support.”

Against India, Ashley Jackson’s strike was not enough as goals from Mandeep Singh and Harmanpreet Singh saw Britain beaten 2-1.

But they bounced back with a convincing win over Korea.

David Condon netted twice, while Jackson and Alastair Brogdon also scored.

Sengju You grabbed Korea’s consolation.
