WITNEY ended their losing run in sensational style with a stunning 12-0 victory at home to High Wycombe 2nd in the South League on Saturday.

The hosts had lost their previous three Berks Bucks & Oxon Division 1 matches, but returned to form with a bang.

They led 4-0 at the break, but added eight eight more in the seconds half, while Wycombe, who never gave up, found the net twice.

Rory Heaslip led the way with four goals, while their were hat-tricks for Jacob Deacon – his first for the club – and Scott Beach.

Witney's scoring was completed by a quick fire brace from Mike Godwin in the second half.

Bicester trounced third-placed Ramgharia 7-3 to continue their quest to finish in the top four and dent their rivals' promotion hopes

A Callum White hat-trick of short corners and a Ben Kirk hat trick of neat finishes were the backbone of a comprehensive win

White made it 2-0 before Ramgharia scored three quick goals to take the lead in a yo-yoing first 35 minutes.

The scores were level at half time however when a well struck ball from CJ Birtles caught a deflection and was put home by Johnny Reid.

Bicester added four unanswered goals after the break.

Oxford Hawks suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat away to high-riding Old Georgians in Premier Division 1.

Meanwhile, Oxford eased to 4-2 victory away to Wycombe in regional 1.

Dean Bleach, Tim Burns, Matt McKeown and Floris De Vos scored Oxford's goals.
