Two goal from Jack Biggs gave Oxford Hawks a 2-0 victory at home to Milton Keynes in South League Premier Division 1 on Saturday.

Hawks dominated the first half, forcing several short corners that were saved.

Eventually they took the lead after the influential Alex Williams won a short corner, which Biggs converted.

The second half followed a similar pattern with Hawks in control, but with only a slender advantage.

They eventually doubled the lead when Alex Williams carried the ball into the D and Matt Wood pushed the ball goalwards only for it to be stopped on the line by a defenders’s foot.

Biggs converted the resultant penalty flick.

Wallingford secured a hard-earned 3-2 victory at home to Eastcote 2nd, who were one place above them in the Regional 1 table.

The hosts dominated for long periods of the game, creating a number of chances, while having to defend strongly at times.

Wallingford’s goals came from George Potter, Eddie Allen and Charlie Chamberlain.

Bicester gave away the lead on three occasions in a frustrating 3-3 draw at home to Oxford 3rd in Middlesex Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1.

The hosts took a 1-0 half-time lead after some smart midfield play from Jordan Chester and Rob Blackie set up Jonny Reid to score.

Only a great triple save from Bicester keeper Darren Moore kept them ahead at half-time.

After the break, the goals flowed, with Oxford drawing level.

Bicester twice went ahead through Reid and Ben Kirk, only for Oxford to equalise each time.
