Becky Odlin claimed an opportunist hat-trick to give Oxford Hawks a comfortable 3-0 victory over Olton & West Warwicks in the Investec Ladies Conference West on Saturday.

With Lucy Millington’s dazzling skills causing the hosts problems, Hawks went ahead when Odlin converted the rebound after Jo Tolson's shot had been saved.

Hawks doubled their lead when Millington and Lucy Stewart set up Odlin who deflected in her second goal.

She completed her hat-trick midway through the second half, finishing off at the third attempt after her first two shots had been saved.

Oxford Ladies lost 5-2 at Epsom in South Clubs League Division 2.

After going 2-0 down, Oxford pulled a goal back before half-time through Emily Malden.

Ellie Ingram went close to equalising in the second half, but Epsom’s pressure told with three quick goals.

Oxford grabbed a consolation goal from Rachel Lammey.

Oxford Hawks 2nd lost 5-4 away to London Wayfarers, despite goals from Claire Werlinger (2), Mary Douglas and Kara Kerr.

A hat-trick from Hayley Dobson gave Witney a 4-1 victory away to Wallingford in Division 3A.

Witney took the lead when Katie Oliver stopped a corner for Dobson to slot home with a powerful sweep into the bottom left corner.

Slick passing from Marie Vincent, Sharon Hall and Sunny Ricketts set up Dobson for the second and she netted the third with a reverse stick shot from a penalty corner.

Wallingford pulled back a goal, but Witney had the final say through Ricketts.

Bicester continued their losing streak with a 2-1 defeat away to bottom-of-the-table Wycombe in Division 1 of the Trysports Three Counties League.

Already 2-0 down at half-time, Bicester netted through Hannah Newell, but they were unable to find an equaliser.

l Oxford went out on penalties to Leamington in the England Women’s Master Over 35s Trophy.

After drawing 3-3 with goals from Suzie Williams (2) and Lynn Cockshott, Oxford lost 4-2 in the penalty shoot-out. Williams and Katie Smith netted for Oxford.
