OXFORD Hawks 2nd clinched promotion for the second year in succession as they beat Sonning 5-0 to lift the South Clubs League Division 3A crown.

Jo Tolson (2), Emily Court, Kara Kerr and Zoe Lamb netted as Hawks finished the season in style.

Witney sealed second place as they saw off Milton Keynes 3-2. Two goals from Lucy Reading put them in command and Hayley Dobson made it 3-0, Milton Keynes pulling one back before the break.

Witney had a goal ruled out in the second half and Milton Keynes reduced the arrears with late penalty flick.

Witney, under coach Chris Boyle, lost only three games all season.

Oxford Hawks finished third in Investec Conference West – their highest-ever placing – after beating Firebrands 3-2.

Abi Flory slotted home after a strike from Becky Odlin came back off a post, and Becky Hibbert made it 2-0.

Charlotte Crampton-Smith had a goal ruled out before Firebrands got on the scoresheet, but Odlin quickly made it 3-1.

The Bristol side replied again just before the final whistle.

Catherine Reaney and Hayley Sawyer both notched doubles as Oxford signed off their Division 2 campaign with a 5-2 win over Brighton & Hove. Harriet Wilkinson bagged their other goal.

The title went to Oxford University, who lost only twice all season.
