The Bicester Area Schools Quicksticks Festival attracted 135 children to Cooper School.
Sixteen teams from Langford Village, Bure Park, Brookside, Longfields, King’s Meadow, St Edburg’s, Five Acres, Fritwell, Launton and Finmere Primary Schools battled it out in four pools on a round robin basis, with the winners going through to the play-offs.
Having defeated Fritwell and Longfields respectively in the semi-finals, King’s Meadow and Brookside met in the final, which Brookside took 2-1.
