Oxford Hawks continued their impressive form with a second successive victory in South League Premier 1.

Goals from Jack Biggs, Tom Godding and Ethan Chapman proved too much for basement boys Eastbourne, who succumbed to their sixth defeat on the trot.

The result moves Hawks up to fifth in the table, while Oxford University slip to ninth after a 2-1 reverse away to unbeaten leaders Spencer.

Hawks 2nd are still searching for their first win Premier 2 after a 3-2 at Barnes.

Wallingford withstood some late pressure to overcome Aylesbury 3-2 in Regional 1.

The visitors went ahead midway through the first half with a breakaway goal, but Wallingford replied smartly as Brett Horlock snatched the equaliser.

Two quick goal from Ed Allen and Tim Chamberlain put the home side firmly in command, although Aylesbury reduced the deficit with five minutes left, giving Wallingford an anxious finale.

Witney’s poor run continued with a 7-3 reverse at Eastcote, Dan Andrews, Tim Hardy and Liam Frost getting the goals. Their cause was not helped some poor umpiring which resulted in Witney having at least one player in the sin bin for much of the game.

Oxford hammered OMT 5-1 thanks to Callum McKenzie (2), Matt McKeown, Will Phillips and an own goal.
