CHRIS Harrison, from The Oxfordshire, claimed top prize at the first Berks Bucks & Oxon Golf Partnership junior competition at Harleyford near Marlow.
Harrison, who plays off 28, took the boys aged 14 and over prize with a score of 41 points.
The boys 13 and over competition runner-up was Tadmarton Heath’s Joshua Kearns, with 43 points, three behind winner and fellow 28-handicapper, Harleyford’s Jamie Kerley.
Kirtlington’s Elisha Gujral, who attends the Academy at Studley Wood and plays off 32, won the girls under 13 competition with 43 points.
BICESTER’S Laura Watkins hit a hole-in-one at the par three eighth while on a practice round.
The added confidence paid off straight away, as she went on to win the club’s April Medal on count-back.
