GOLF: Frilford Heath captains Peter Creasy and Iona Smith raised a record-breaking amount of £23,000 for charities during the last year.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust received £14,772.55, while £8,338.42 went to the Mulberry Bush School, a specialist school for severely traumatised primary aged children.
Creasy said: “Iona and I are absolutely delighted that we’ve achieved a record-breaking total.”
“This is the most ever to be raised in a year from both the men’s and ladies’ sections of the club.”
Frilford have appointed their new captains, with Maurice Alphandary and Maudie Beardall taking over.
