EDDIE Pepperell was left rueing a dropped shot at the last hole in the British Masters at The Grove today.
The Abingdon golfer, who had birdied the 18th hole on each of the previous three days, had a bogey six to finish with a final round of 70.
That dropped shot cost him around €5,000 and left him one place outside the 110 players are to keep their European Tour cards at the end of the season.
Pepperell, who finished joint 22nd on eight-under par 276, is 111th in the standings – but for the dropped shot, he would have been 106th.
He has one more tournament – this week’s Portugual Masters – in which to try and keep his card.
