EDDIE Pepperell returned to form with a brilliant 65 in the second round of the British Masters at The Grove.
The Abingdon golfer, who had missed the last six cuts in a row on the European Tour, shot six birdies and no bogeys in a flawless round which saw him hurtle up the leaderboard.
At the halfway stage, Pepperell is on a five-under-par total 137, inside the top 20 and certain to play the final two rounds.
The Frilford Heath ace needs a high finish to guarantee securing his Tour card for the 2017 season.
He is placed 120th on the money list, and needs to finish the year in the top 110 to keep his card.
