Eddie Pepperell easily missed the halfway cut in the US PGA Championship at Whistling Straits after shooting a nine-over-par over par total of 153 for his two rounds.
The 24-year-old, from Abingdon, added a second round of 75 yesterday to his inconsistent first round of 78, which included an eagle at the 16th – his seventh hole – and a triple-bogey at the par-five fifth.
The Frilford Heath player was much steadier yesterday with two birdies, offset by three bogeys and a double bogey.
