Eddie Pepperell maintained his excellent form to move into contention in Malmo.
The Frilford Heath pro, who lost in a play-off for the Irish Open last week, produced a four-under-par second round of 68, with only one bogey, to go joint fifth on 138.
The world No 95, from Abingdon, is four strokes behind the joint leaders, the Swedish duo of Jens Dantorp and 18-year-old amateur Markus Kinhult.
Favourite Henrik Stenson is four shots behind Pepperell.
