TONY Jacklin is one of four ex-Ryder Cup players in action to promote a new development at Magnolia Park tomorrow.

The double major winner is playing a hands-on role in the major project at the club, where a 30-bed hotel has now opened.

He is playing in an event alongside former European Tour professionals David Gilford, Paul Broadhurst and Peter Baker, to raise the profile of the club, near the Oxfordshire-Bucks border.

It follows the creation of the Tony Jacklin Academy, which began earlier this year.

The rest of the redevelopment is due to be completed next year, including a par three championship course.
