EDDIE Pepperell will warm up for next week’s Spanish Open by playing at Oxford Golf Club today.
The European Tour player, from Abingdon, is the star name in the field for the Tony Rees Pro-Am, named after the club’s recently-retired head professional.
Pepperell, whose brother Joe succeeded Rees in March, will not collect the £2,500 prize money for the winner.
He said: “It’s a good chance to support Joe, see some of the other pros and go out to play.
“I’m looking forward to it.”
