EDDIE Pepperell boosted his chances of playing in the World Tour Championship at the end of the month with a high finish in Shanghai, China, yesterday.
The Frilford Heath member came joint 26th on a seven-under-par total of 281.
The prize-money moved Pepperell up to 58th in the Race for Dubai list.
The top 60 after the Turkish Airlines Open in a fortnight will qualify for the World Tour Championship in Dubai from November 20-23.
The BMW Masters was won by German Marcel Siem, who beat Frenchman Alexander Levy and England’s Ross Fisher in a play-off after they had tied on 272.
