THREE clubs were celebrating after completing league and cup doubles.

Oxford City Under 13s, Headington Youth Under 12s and Swindon Spitfires Under 15s all triumphed on the league’s finals day at Thame to ensure they won their second trophies of the season.

Oxford City saw off Tower Hill Vixens 1-0, with Shanice Wright scoring the only goal of the game.

Wright’s shot from the edge of the box found the bottom corner for the game’s only goal.

Headington defeated Oxford City 2-0 in the under 12 final.

Despite being on the back foot for large parts of the opening period, Headington went in front when Alyssia Tierney latched on to Bethany Chapman’s superb through ball, and beat the keeper.

However, she injured herself in the process and had to go off.

Nonetheless, her side stayed on the front foot and doubled their lead when Ella Milne helped the ball on for the prolific Hermione Prescott-Luke to cap a fantastic season with the second.

And Crowmarsh could not stop Swindon Spitfires completing the double.

Georgia Brown scored, but strikes from Shannon King (2), Kacie Anderson and Aimee Prinzi gave Swindon a 4-1 victory.

Summertown Stars Red claimed the under 13 plate final, beating Charlbury 2-1 after extra time.

Anna Hamerow scored twice to give Summertown victory, with an own goal providing Charlbury’s score.

The under 12 plate final went to Didcot Casuals, who beat Kidlington Youth 2-1.

Ellie Owen opened the scoring, reacting quickest Aimee Hunt’s shot was saved.

Millie Jones doubled the lead with a curling effort to make it 2-0 at half-time.

Fiona Baker pulled one back for Kidlington, but they could not level.

Abingdon Youth won the under 14 competition with a 4-2 victory over Oxford City, despite having trailed 2-0.

Damini Bhagat and an own goal put City in control, but Sadie Timbs (2), Jevon Brown and Olivia Day completed Abingdon’s comeback.

Quarry Rovers beat Hook Norton 3-0 to win the plate final.

Tia-Mai Herbert scored twice, with Amy Gillett also on target.

Kidlington are the under 11 cup champions after a 1-0 success over Cumnor Minors.

Despite seeing a first-half penalty saved, Kidlington lifted the trophy thanks to Zoe Spokes, who fired home in a crowded goalmouth.

Tower Hill Vixens triumphed in the plate final, beating Chalgrove Cavaliers 2-1.

Tower opened the scoring after a Chalgrove player put through her own net.

Macy Harris levelled, but Tower clinched victory when Abi Greenaway played in Tori St Clair, who wrong-footed the keeper to score.

Wantage Town won the under 10 cup with a 1-0 victory over Mansfield Road.

The only goal came with ten minutes to go when Ruby Peart scored with a long-range strike.

Usually a forward, Wantage moved the goalscorer to defence and she unleashed a dipping shot which proved the difference.

Hinksey Park Lionesses won the plate final by seeing off Barton United 1-0.

Imogen Phillips scored the late winner, breaking forward to convert a cross.
