CHIMA Iwuchukwu proved the hero as his second-half penalty helped Kennington Athletic beat Ardley United 1-0 to lift the Under 13 KO Cup, writes PAUL LYON.

The final at Oxford City’s Marsh Lane looked to be heading for extra time, with the teams cancelling each other out in windy conditions.

But Iwuchukwu’s penalty proved the difference and earned Kennington victory.

Faringdon Town won the KO Trophy with a 3-1 win over Didcot Town Youth Red.

Ray Rwodzi (2) and Aaron Hares netted for Faringdon, with Bradley Ward replying.

Errol Otto struck a four-timer as Littlemore Youth beat Summertown Flares 10-0 in the Spring D League.

Theo Hilsdon hit a hat-trick, while Toby Ludbrook, Adam White and Oscar Ruck-Nightingale also netted.

Jake Washington’s treble helped Kidlington Youth beat Headington Youth 4-2.

Josh Williams also scored for Kidlington, with Ryan Gillett and Jaydon Kocaj netting for Headington.

Oxford City made it eight wins in a row when beating Kingston Colts Blues 1-0 to clinch the Under 12 Spring A League title.

Elliott Bhan scored the only goal.

Sam James’s double led Kidlington Youth to a 2-1 victory over Haddenham Youth. Callum Martin replied.

Benji Mangan bagged a brace to give Oxford Irish their first victory as they beat Mansfield Road 2-1.

Olivier Orzechowski scored a consolation penalty for Mansfield.

Cumnor Minors secured promotion from the Spring E League when beating Cumnor Minors 4-2.

Joel Tengwana’s hat-trick and a goal from Reuben Harry earned the victory, with Tiwilande da Costa hitting both goals for Park.

Daniel Digges’s double and Kirk Fasanmade’s strike saw Kennington Athletic beat Wychwood Kings 3-0 in the Under 14 A League.

Daniel Sutton and Morgan Hunt both hit hat-tricks as Didcot Town Youth White won 7-0 at Berinsfield in the C League.

Luke Wood also scored for Didcot.

Braces from Matthew Parker and Joseph Creasey steered Combe Junior Sports to a 5-2 victory over Quarry Rovers.

Henry English-Arms also netted, while Vincenzo Crucioli and Joe Czajewski replied for Quarry.

Kidlington Youth Green stay top of the D League despite losing 1-0 to Bure Park Juniors, for whom Max Rowlinson scored.

Callan O’Connor netted twice as Headington Youth beat Summertown Red 3-1.

Neo Engerer also struck for Headington, while Summertown’s David Lennholm was on target.

Lewis Penny struck a four-timer as Cholsey Bluebirds beat Bure Park Juniors 6-1 in the Under 15 A League.

Ben Marshall and Josh Lyons completed Cholsey’s tally, with Aiden Holliday replying.

Abingdon United led at Cumnor with a first-half penalty from Hayden Stone.

But Cumnor fought back with a brace each from Jack Hunter and Alex McMahon and a strike from Louis Tucker to give them a 5-1 victory.

Francis Chikange and Jack Gifford netted for Garsington Youth as they beat league leaders Summertown Eagles 2-1. Tommy Bleakley scored for Eagles.

Two goals from Scott Isherwood helped Carterton secure the Under 16 KO Cup with a 3-0 win over Banbury United. Jack Bellenger also scored.

A long-distance strike from Aiden Cowles gave Bicester a 1-0 win over Goring Robins in the B League.

Joey Bridgman netted both goals as Drayton Wasps beat Chalgrove Cavaliers 2-1. Jaiden Hawkins scored for Chalgrove.

The points were shared in a 2-2 draw between Florence Park and Greater Leys Youth as Nasim Iwaram and Heath Pitson bagged a brace each for their respective teams.

Daniel Buck netted twice and Owen Marsh once as Botley beat Chesterton 3-2. Isaac Mullins-Dean and Tynon Stewart replied.

Ted Chedzey, James Ormrod, Toby Patterson and Samuel Barham scored for Harwell & Hendred as they beat Grove Challengers 4-0 in the Spring Cup.
