ELLIE White bagged all four goals as Harwell & Hendred won 4-0 at home to Benson United in Group B of the Oxford Mail Girls League’s Under 12 League Cup.

The pick of the bunch was a superbly struck free-kick from outside the area, with White’s goalscoring exploits helping her side to third place in the group.

There was also a four-timer for Lily Harries as she helped leaders Oxford City to a 5-0 win at Crowmarsh, with Grace Richards also on target for City.

Kidlington were held to a 1-1 draw at home to second-placed Grove Challengers.

The hosts took the lead through Jessica Soares and could have added more goals during the first half, but Rose Kent’s equaliser after the break earned Challengers a point.

Group B leaders Summertown Stars Red maintained their perfect record with a comfortable 8-0 win at Abingdon Youth.

Megan Smit and Carys Esau-Buitrago scored twice each alongside goals from Anna Hamerow, Tilly Gilbert, Maddie Richardson and Charlotte Evans.

Second-placed Summertown Stars White held off the challenge of Tower Hill Vixens to claim a 3-2 home win and maintain their pursuit of top spot.

Ana Sanwar, Leschea Guiste and Ruth Tyson goals were enough for Stars, but efforts from Emily Mumford and Jasmine Illingworth ensured a nervy ending.

Phoebe Warner struck four times as Tower Hill Vixens won 5-0 at home to Bloxham in the Under 16 League, with Mollie Farr also netting.

Wantage Town held Under 14 League leaders Crowmarsh to a goalless draw in their first match back after a lengthy ten-week break.
