OXFORD United have signed Sophie Baker ahead of the Women’s Super League season.
The 19-year-old midfielder started at Abingdon Youth followed by Saxton Rovers, before joining the U’s.
Manager Les Taylor said: “Sophie fully deserves her chance to impress.
“She has been an outstanding prospect all the way up through the age groups and wants to keep improving as a player.”
Baker added: “I saw an advert in the Oxford Mail for the Oxford United Centre of Excellence when I was ten.
“I got into the youngest age group in the first year of the new centre of excellence. Little did I know this was going to last nine years.”
