SARAH Harrison’s fine strike wrapped up the points as Oxford City Ladies Under 18s beat Moretonville 3-1.
The Thames Valley Counties League match was only given the go-ahead after a morning inspection.
And despite not being at their best, City led 2-0 at the interval thanks to goals from Kiera Isaac and Ellie Larkin.
They produced a much-improved display after the break, but saw their lead reduced when Moretonville scored a freak goal direct from a corner.
However, City’s dominance paid off when Harrison fired in an unstoppable shot from 18 yards to seal the points.
