BLOXHAM moved up to second in the Oxford Mail Girls League Under 16 League on goal difference with a 5-0 home win over Bardwell on Saturday.
A double from Emily Parker and further goals from Jemma Welling, Courtney Stratford and Natalie Sansom were enough to secure the hosts victory, with Bardwell unable to find a way past goalkeeper Katie McLean.
In the Under 14 League, Tower Hill Vixens won 2-1 away to Carterton.
Around 40 players took part in the Oxford Mail Girls League’s under 8/9 development festival, held at the Oxford City Indoor Arena in Berinsfield.
Sides from Thatcham, Bardwell, Summertown, Mansfield Road and Wantage took part in a five-a-side competition in a round robin format, with each side playing five games over the course of the two-hour event.
The next festival will take place in February.
