OXFORD United look to end their season on a high with victory over Everton at the Select Security Stadium tomorrow (2pm), writes MATTHEW BRUCE.
The U’s have already enjoyed a huge improvement from their previous campaign, more than doubling last season’s points tally in FA Women’s Super League 2.
And manager Les Taylor believes it is proof they can compete with the better sides in the division – including their third-placed hosts.
He said: “We like to see steady improvement and this season has been quite a big one.
“It’s not just the teams around us we’ve done okay against.
“We’ve gone away to both Yeovil and Reading and come away with a result.
“I think we’ve shown the better teams that we can compete with them.”
United are without Laura Nichol and Ella Franklin-Fraiture, while Rebecca Dandridge is injured.
However, Kayleigh Hines returns from suspension.
TOMORROW’S SQUAD
Oxford Utd (v Everton, away): from Lambourne, Cox, Osborne-Ricketts, Bruce, Meade, Lane, Pickett, Nutman, Hines, Stanley, Toussaint, Lee, Pinker, Scanlon.
