ANNA Hamerow’s hat-trick handed Summertown Stars Red a 3-2 victory at home to Oxford City in the Under 12 Red League.

The hosts fell behind early on to goals from Victoria Traff and Thea Hornblow, but hit back emphatically, with Hamerow’s treble too much for the visitors.

In the Blue League, Tower Hill Vixens were 9-0 winners at Crowmarsh thanks to a sensational four-timer from Emily Mumford, three from Sophie Cox and an Isabelle Riley brace.

Kidlington’s perfect start in the Under 16 League was maintained with a 2-1 home win over Benson United.

Millie Simmonds and Abi Haynes scored for the home side, with Ellie Seares replying for Benson.

Wantage Town secured a 2-1 victory at home to Bardwell.

Goals in each half from Hannah Jarvis and Jess Reader put the hosts in charge, but they were made to endure a nervy final few moments after Fiyon Phillips netted a penalty for the visitors.

Bloxham got their campaign off to a winning start with a 4-1 victory at home to Tower Hill Vixens, courtesy of a double from Emily Parker and efforts from Jemma Welling and Jade Ryman.

Izzy Ottley’s lone strike made it two wins out of two for early Under 14 League leaders Wantage Town, giving them a 1-0 win at Tower Hill Vixens.

Harwell & Hendred’s campaign opened with a 14-0 defeat at home to Swindon Spitfires.

Gen Bayliss (4), Courtney Gleed (3), Aimee Prinzi (2), Morgan Ly Culley (2), Chloe Neate, Georgia Miller and Lara Wilson all netted for the visitors.

Georgia Smith netted all three goals as Tower Hill Vixens won 3-0 away to Carterton Town in the Under 13 Red League.

They lead the way with two wins from two, but hot on their heels are Abingdon Youth, who notched their second victory with a 3-0 win at Oxford City.

Sadie Timbs, Farah Khan and Emily Prior got the goals for Abingdon.

Letisha Kabwebwe bagged a hat-trick as Barton United won 6-0 at Launton in the Blue League.

Chelsea Cox also scored twice and the victory was sealed courtesy of an own goal.

Amy Gillett, Gabrielle Crook and Mary Newton goals gave Quarry Rovers a 3-0 victory at home to Stonesfield Strikers to leapfrog their opponents into second in the table.
