Molly Jones hit an extra-time winner to send Oxford City through to the Oxford Mail Girls League’s Under 12 Cup final with a 3-2 victory at home to Abingdon.

Damini Bhagat put the hosts ahead with just two minutes played, but they soon trailed to two Sadie Timbs goals.

However, Bhagat struck again to send the match into extra time and Jones seized the winner for City to set up a final clash with Summertown Stars.

Blue League leaders Carterton Town marched on at the top with a 4-2 victory at home to Stonesfield Strikers.

The visitors surprisingly took the lead, thanks to Rachel Appleton.

But the lead didn’t last and although she netted a second after half-time, Carterton were already out of sight, with braces from Ellie Walecki and Ruby Colleton securing their 12th win from as many league games.

Two goals from Daisey Grover booked Wantage Town a place in the Under 13 League Cup final with a 2-0 victory at Kidlington Hawks.

Grover opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a deflected shot, before completing Town’s victory late on with an excellent individual effort.

They will face Oxford City in the final, who eased past Tower Hill Vixens 4-0.

Georgia Moore scored twice for the hosts, alongside goals from Amanda Osarabo and Emily Green.

In the Under 11 League, bottom side Tower Hill Vixens were beaten 2-1 at home to Charlbury.

Elizabeth Ledgard-Hoile hit a brace to put the visitors two goals to the good, before Isabelle Riley struck a consolation for Vixens.

Leschea Guiste’s late double gave Summertown Stars White a 2-0 victory over Summertown Stars Red in the Under 11 League Cup semi-final.

Goalkeeper Ava-Rose Mason saved a second-half penalty from the Reds to keep the match goalless.

And, with the match heading for extra time, Guiste struck twice in quick succession to send Whites through.

In the Oxford Mail & Bucks Under 14 League Division 1, Oxford City were beaten 7-1 at home by champions Croughton Diamonds.

Emma Parker netted for City, but Fay Marshal-Hopkins’ hat-trick, plus doubles from Zara Dodd and Lilly Hamp handed the visitors victory.
