Kayleigh Hines struck twice against her old club to give Oxford United Women a surprise 2-2 draw at promotion-chasing Reading in FA Women's Super League 2 in Farnborough last night.

Hines prodded Oxford into the lead after Holly Pickett had hooked a corner back into the danger zone from a corner.

But the hosts hit back from the penalty spot following a foul on Lauren Bruton, who then slotted the spot-kick past United goalkeeper Demi Lambourne.

Hines restored the away side's lead 20 minutes from time with an ambitious left-footed drive from the edge of the area, but Reading immediate responded when Bruton lobbed Lambourne to ensure the points were shared.
