CARTERTON made it ten wins in a row in the Oxford Mail Girls League Under 12 Blue League, after a 3-1 win over second-placed Wantage Town.
Katie Gough, Sophie Masters and Ruby Colleton scored as Carterton moved five points clear at the top.
Bailee Latimer was on the scoresheet for Wantage.
In an entertaining encounter, Carterton opened the scoring through Gough, before Latimer levelled things up for the visitors, after good work from Jade Marshall.
However, Carterton restored their lead before the break, with Masters netting.
Wantage were up against it in the second half and Colleton added a third to seal the win.
